I Never Looked Back

I always knew that I wanted to work in the medical profession. Since I was very small, I had always planned to become a doctor. As I struggled through high school with a learning disability, it became very apparent that I was not going to have the grades that I needed to get into medical school, so I started looking into other options.

I decided that I would become a medical assistant and discussed the possibility of attending Sanford Brown Garden City with my high school guidance counselor. She arranged for me to go to the school to talk to someone about the courses that were offered there.

I was very impressed with the school and after a tour of both the school and the courses it had to offer, I decided that I was going to study for a certificate in diagnostic medical ultrasound. I remember walking out of there feeling so happy that I once again had some direction in my life and I was once again excited to finish high school and move on with my life. I know that the decision was right for me and I have never looked back.
