The Best Classes I’ve Ever Taken

lifeguard-classDo you have a favorite class that you can remember from when you were in school? I have taken a lot of classes over the years, both in school and in community education programs, but there are really only a few classes that stand out for me.

My very favorite class was a group psychology class that I took in community college. Each week we had a project to do in class that ended up teaching us the lesson about the psychology of a group through actually showing us what happened when groups tried to work together. It was a really neat thing to learn.

Another class that I really liked was a Swimming Schools Miami class that I took one summer. I had done Miami swimming lessons before but these Swimming Classes Miami were specifically designed to teach me rescue skills like those used by lifeguards. I feel like it’s one of the most useful and practical classes I’ve ever taken.

Come to think of it, I’ve enjoyed all of the first aid classes that I’ve had to take for the same reason. These classes felt like they were really important although I’ve never actually had to use the skills that I learned during those classes in real life.

There were other interesting classes that I took over the years but those are the few that really stand out in my memory. A combination of interesting material, great teachers and a good setting made those classes worth my time.
