A Cisco Firewall Specialist is someone who works in the field of computer security. This is a really great job to have today. Computer security is a major issue facing society today so there are people hiring all over the world for these types of jobs. It’s a fairly easy job to get certified to complete so you won’t have to wait long before you’re certified to work in the field.
The first thing that you will have to do is to go through Cisco Certification. You are going to need to take two different exams. First you will need to take the normal Cisco exam to get CCNA certification. Then you will need to take a second exam in order to become a specialist in firewall security. You should sign up for Cisco training courses to make it easier to pass these exams.
Once you’ve passed the exams, you’re certified to work in this field. Finding a job will be easier if you already have some experience with computer security work. Even if you don’t have that experience, though, just put yourself out there. Your Cisco certification gives you credibility in a field where employees really need workers who can get the job done.
